Established in 2007, the International ICT Awards – Philippines was designed to further propel the Philippines forward in the race to become the world’s preferred provider of outsourced business and knowledge processes.
Through this annual awarding ceremony, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (CanCham) and the Business Process Association Philippines (BPAP) hopes to forcefully promote the following:
Brand the Philippines as the World’s BPO Destination of Choice for Multinational Companies
Highlight successes and excellence within the ICT industry
Promote the IT-BPO opportunity to Filipinos and that Filipino talent and service are a competitive advantage
Recognize outstanding performance and contributions by organizations and individuals within the ICT community
The awards night brings together Senior Level Executives from organizations that are driving the fastest growing economic sector in the Philippines where all finalists are recognized and winners are announced. See the list of Categories below and nomination criteria attached.

BPO COMPANY OF THE YEAR
Open to any company, whether captive or third-party providers, based in the Philippines involved in providing business process outsourcing (BPO) services from the Philippines to offshore client organizations. Only pure BPOs serving international clients may be nominated for this award.
BPO EMPLOYER OF THE YEAR
Open to any company, whether captive or third-party providers, based in the Philippines involved in providing business process outsourcing (BPO) services from the Philippines to offshore client organizations. Only pure BPOs serving international clients may be nominated for this award.
SHARED SERVICES EXCELLENCE COMPANY OF THE YEAR
Open to captive operators only, with minimum 100 employees at the end of 2010 involved in providing services from the Philippines to their company’s global network.
NON-VOICE EXCELLENCE COMPANY OF THE YEAR
Open to any company, whether captive or third- party providers involved in providing non-voice business process outsourcing (BPO) services from the Philippines to offshore client organizations. Only pure BPOs serving international clients may be nominated for this award.
BEST NEW BPO LOCATOR OF THE YEAR
Open to any company, whether captive or third-party providers, that set up in the Philippines in CY2008 involved in providing business process outsourcing (BPO) services from the Philippines to offshore client organizations. Only pure BPOs serving international clients may be nominated for this award.
FASTEST GROWING BPO COMPANY OF THE YEAR
Open to any company, whether captive or third- party providers, based in the Philippines involved in providing business process outsourcing (BPO) services from the Philippines to offshore client organizations. Only pure BPOs serving international clients may be nominated for this award.
MOST INNOVATIVE BPO COMPANY OF THE YEARICT INDIVIDUAL CONTRIBUTOR OF THE YEAR
Any individual from the public or private sector involved in leading, promoting, facilitating, or assisting companies in the business process outsourcing (BPO) sector in Philippines during the year 2010 can be considered for the award. The award is meant to reward long- term contributions to developing and promoting the international BPO sector in Philippines.
ICT QUALITY PROGRAM OF THE YEAR (*New Award Category for 2012)
Open to any company, whether captive or third- party providers, based in the Philippines involved in providing business process outsourcing (BPO) services from the Philippines to offshore client organizations.
ICT INDIVIDUAL CONTRIBUTOR OF THE YEAR
Any individual from the public or private sector involved in leading, promoting, facilitating, or assisting companies in the business process outsourcing (BPO) sector in Philippines during the year 2011 can be considered for the award. The award is meant to reward long- term contributions to developing and promoting the international BPO sector in Philippines.

Companies may nominate themselves or may be nominated by anyone from the general public. Nominations for awards for individuals may be submitted by the individuals themselves, anyone from the general public, or the judges.
